40k Season 2 - Episode 2 London 40k GT 2017 winner Nathan Roberts

As promised! More content! And we haven't quite shipped off 7th edition to the nursing home and left it there to be forgotten about JUST yet... but it's bags are packed and it has a room booked with a sea view.

This weekend the London 40k GT was held and saw a field of well over 100 gamers take part in the Warhammer 40,000 competition. It was Nathan Roberts who took the crown on his first attempt defeating prominent tournament names and England ETC teammates Tony Chew and his brother Josh Roberts on the way to victory. Nathan gave us some of his time to discuss his experience at the event, his perspective on 7th edition as a whole and finally how he feels about moving on to 8th and #New40k!

It's a really insightful discussion with one of the most talented players in the world right now and we hope you enjoy it!

Episode 47: Battle For Salvation GT with Matt DeFranza

This past weekend the competitive 40k community congregated in West Harrison, NY for the annual Battle For Salvation GT (BFS for short). We spoke to this year's winner Matt DeFranza who took a rather unique list comprising entirely of Raven Guard Space Marines and zero Psykers! What heresy is this?!?!?!

As Nova 2016 is underway this weekend, we spoke to one of the driving forces behind competitive 40k at the event, Phil Rodokanakis! As part of the rules council he has been a part of creating the Nova Missions and Rules packs for the last several years and judging the high level play during the event. We spoke to Phil for a second time after a previous recording was lost just as he had finished the load in for the event and was.... unwinding.
